Cargo Readiness Communication Process

Dear Valued Customer,
We're pleased to announce a new enhancement to our Cargo Readiness communication process, effective August 26, 2025. This update is designed to streamline and improve pre-departure checking, which was previously known as the Booking Status Check.

Key Enhancements Include:


1.    Consolidated Booking Email
You will receive a single email containing all your bookings, vessel details, and cut-off times. This email will be sent 5 days prior to the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and will be grouped by Booking Party.

2.    Missing Elements Alerts
The new system will clearly highlight any missing information such as pending pick-up, gate-in, shipping instruction, or VGM and provide direct links for easy and fast completion.

3.    Booking Readiness Confirmation
Confirmation of your booking or shipment's readiness for loading on the intended vessel will be required by replying directly to the email.

4.    Amendment Requests
Requests to amend a booking, including postponement or cancellation, should be submitted through the CMA CGM website as per the standard procedure.

Please give prompt attention to emails with the subject line, "Action required: missing information on your shipments." All follow-up emails for any pending pick-up, gate-in, shipping instructions, and VGM will now be sent from IDN.service
