Thailand - Container deposit fee adjustment for specific commodity (Serenity Container Guarantee).

Dear Valued Customer,
Please be informed that CMA CGM Thailand will make an adjustment for the container deposit charge for specific commodities by replaced to charge “Serenity Container Guarantee (DTC)” instead as below.
Commodity:
• USED ENGINE & MACHINERY
• USED AUTO PARTS
• USED SPARE PARTS
• USED CARS / USED VEHICLE (Added Commodity)
Effective Date: 15th July 2023 (ETA date)
From: All origin ports
To: Thailand all ports
Charge: Serenity container guarantee (DTC) Fee.
Detail: 15 USD per container, which customer liability cap at 250 USD per container.Example: The estimated repair cost is 1,000 USD, customer requested to pay only 250 USD. In case the repair cost is less than 250 USD, customer requested to pay full amount of charge. Customers can upgrade to SERENITY PREMIUM CONTAINER GUARANTEE (charged at 39 USD per container) by contacting our local sales team. The PREMIUM CONTAINER GUARANTEE will make all the repair cost under carrier liability.
Example: The estimated repair cost is 1,000 USD, CMA CGM will pay all the repair cost instead of customer.
