China – Port Congestion Surcharge (PCS) for Reefer cargo bound for Tianjin/Xingang

As such, to ensure your reefer cargo remains in premium condition, you are highly recommended to contact your local CMA CGM representative to change the port of discharge/ destination, otherwise, we may be forced to divert your reefer cargo to alternative ports.
To cover the additional costs, we will apply the following Port Congestion Surcharge (PCS), which is applicable to CMA CGM, CNC (a brand of APL) and ANL:
Amount: USD 1,250 per Reefer container
Payment: By freight payer

For ongoing units and those which have already been re-routed, a specific surcharge will be calculated at the time of the reloading as soon as space is made available at the ports of Tianjin/Xingang. Our local office will reach out and advise details if your cargo is affected.
As we try our best to safeguard your cargo, please note that all related costs will be on the Customer’s account* upon delivery.
